Brief synopsis: Excellent film, a must see for beginners and campaigners alike. Very useful for countering arguments put forth by 9/11 debunkers. Uses extensive footage from 9/11 Experts speak Out by  Richard Gage (architect and engineers for 911 truth) and given critical acclaim by Professor David Ray Griffin, author of many 9/11 books.  5 stars

Packed with up to date facts and research, this film was inspired by, and  takes its name from Professor David Ray Griffins book of the same name. As with the book, the film compares the similarities between the events of Pearl harbour and the events of 9/11. To re cap, Pearl Harbour was a supposed surprise attack by the Japanese upon a US naval vessel docked in Pearl Harbour, but later, evidence emerged which proved the US had foreknowledge and  let it happen in order to persuade the US public that the US should involve itself with the second world war.

The film is well made, avoids speculation, is meticulously researched, taking video clips from numerous sources, some familar, and some that have rarely if ever, been seen in a 9/11 film before, with many of them very moving and heart rending.  As it is a long film, the film-makerspresent the information in useful sections, allowing the viewer to take a break should they wish.
Section one includes the alleged 9/11 hijackers, the hijacked planes, the air defense, section two is the pentagon, flight 93, and the twin towers,
section three concentrates on the twin towers, building seven, and an epilogue.
This final secion  outlines along with footage of the towers and wtc 7, how the official account and the debunkers cannot be correct according to the laws of physics. If they were correct, then there would be a violation of Newton's laws of physics.  the filmexplains this clearly, and it is apparent that anyone with even basic physics, cant help but have serious doubts of the account given by NIST and the 9/11 commision.

Appearing in the film are: Nafeez Ahmed, Author) Richard Gage, (architect, ae911truth), William Rodriguez, (Janitor of the north tower) Scott Forbes, (worked at the twin towers) Barry Jennings, (WTC7 survivor) the Jersey Girls, (lost loved ones on 9/11)  David Chandler, (ae911truth) Webster Tarpley, (author) amongst many others.

The film addresses three different arguments: the official 911 account, the 9/11 debunkers, and the 9/11 truth movements critique, taking their cue from another of Professor David Ray Griffins books, "9/11 Debunking the Debunkers".  Both the official account and the debunkers arguments are skillfully demolished by rational scientific premises aided by eye witness testimony, expert analysis from people such as architects and engineers for 9/11 truth, first responders, and raw video footage of the actual events.

Which brings one to the intelligence failures - some of this was touched upon in the film though not in detail, but the film brought us up to date with a clip of an interview by Luke Rudowski with Richard Clarke (ex terrorism tzar for President Bush)
The put options placed on American Airlines and United Arilines, the two airlines whose planes were hijacked on 9/11, and other suspicious trading activities related to the 9/11 attacks, were not covered in this film. To include all the possible aspects of 9/11 would of course, have made the film even longer than its 5 hour running time, and the selection of the information was more than adequate for successfully raising the most important questions concerning the events 9/11

Review By S.Day: In September 1997, “The Project for the New American Century”, a Washington based US think-tank, was founded with the remit of promoting US global leadership. In September 2000, they published a report entitled “Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategies, Forces, and Resources For a New Century”. In this document, we find the following statement: “the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor.”

Wind the clock on another year to the devastating events of September 11^th 2001, and we have a plausible candidate for this New Pearl Harbor. This is the case made by Massimo Mazzucco in his superb new DVD. This epic production towers over most of the other offerings in this field that we have seen. So what makes this one so special? For me, there are three main things.

The first is the quality of the presentation. There are many documentaries available on this subject with varying degrees of professionalism. Mazzucco’s production has quality that one might see on television or in the mainstream media.

The second is the enormous depth and quality of the research that has gone into the production. Mazzucco has let out all the stops, has explored every angle and provides a wealth of information. A lot of this data has even been obtained from the Federal Government itself via Freedom of Information requests. All the key facets of the 9/11 saga are presented meticulously and fairly.

The third is Mazzucco’s strict adherence to a principle called the Scientific Method, a tool that is vital for any researcher in this (or any other) field. This procedure is one which scientists use to work out why things happened the way they did. The idea is that we start with the observed facts, then we propose a number of models (explanations), then we test the models in turn against the facts and check for correlation. When this is done, the model that most closely corresponds with the facts becomes the accepted model until such time as a better model presents itself. The advantage of this method is that it avoids the pitfalls associated with the adherence to a particular ideology or dogma and allows the researcher to keep an open mind if and when new evidence becomes available. Mazzucco makes use of this technique throughout this work, and very refreshing it is too.

But let’s get back to the central point of Mazzucco’s work – the similarity between 9/11 and Pearl Harbor (PH). He kicks off the DVD by describing twelve points of similarity.

First we are told that the claimed goal of the government in each case differed substantially from the actual goal. In the case of PH, the actual goal was war with Hitler, whereas the stated goal was war with Japan. Similarly, in the case of 9/11, the actual goal was war with Iraq whereas the stated goal was war with Afghanistan. Subsequently, in both cases, the propaganda machines were kicked off to try and force the necessary connections. A huge number of Americans ended up believing that Hitler was responsible for PH and that Saddam Hussein was the mastermind behind 9/11.

Foreknowledge was another key area of similarity. In both cases, the fact that there was to be an attack was common knowledge in Washington well before the actual attacks. Even the exact dates of the attacks were known weeks in advance. Of course, the foreknowledge of the attacks enjoyed by one group in the government was withheld from other groups which may have been able to stop the attacks. Again, in both cases, the government was accused of having this foreknowledge, but this claim was, unsurprisingly, denounced. At the same time, when honest officials who wanted to avert the attacks tried to report it to their superiors, their calls fell on deaf ears.

Moving on to the military response to the attacks (or lack of it), we see yet more similarities. In both cases, at the exact time of the attacks, key members of the military made themselves unavailable. Donald Rumsfeld, it is reported, vanished without trace for thirty minutes. Prior to this, in both cases, the available military force in the area had been deliberately reduced. On 9/11 there were only four available jet fighters to defend the whole of the Eastern Seaboard of the country. On top of this, in both cases, we have the stand-down orders (on 9/11 these came from Dick Cheney, we are told) that were handed to forces to avoid any chance of their being able to defend the country in its hour of need.

Needless to say that, in both cases, the indignation of the public following the attacks was used to justify entry into war, a war that had been planned and prepared for long before. After it was all over, again, in both cases, we see the formation of commissions whose stated purpose it was to investigate the government’s failure to thwart the attacks. The Roberts Commission (PH) and the 9/11 commission were both investigations into conspiracies which were conducted by the conspirators themselves. No wonder the investigations turned up nothing.

Moving on again, we are told of the various groups of people we see today speaking out about the 9/11 and the state of the ongoing debate between them. First we have the Truthers, who question the official narrative of events, and then we have the Debunkers, who have attempted to disprove the evidence offered by the Truthers. Mazzucco devotes much of his attention to disproving the so-called evidence presented by the Debunkers and to describe the extent to which Truthers’ case has been affected by the Debunkers. As far as I know, this is the first coherent rebuttal of the Debunkers’ case.

In Mazzucco’s sights are Italy’s top Debunker, Paulo Attivissimo and his French counterpart, Jerome Quirant. Both of these have been active in their home countries on the lecture circuit presenting their “facts” about 9/11. But top of his list is the US’s Popular Mechanics magazine which produced the book “Debunking 9/11 Myths” which is regarded as the jewel in the Debunkers’ crown. Mazzucco shows that a lot of the Debunkers’ so-called evidence is either untrue or is based on misconceptions and erroneous inferences.

On the other side of the table, specializing in the three towers, Mazzuuco recognizes the outstanding efforts by the folks here at AE911Truth in their ongoing work to refute the so-called evidence presented in NIST’s reports into the collapses.

Let’s have a look at some of the Debunkers’ arguments in a little more detail.

One constant theme is that the three towers were allegedly built using a light construction which rendered them fragile and weak. This is based around the fact that the upright members of the towers are located in the core and in outer shell of the buildings with a gap in between. Some Debunkers say that it’s the location of the uprights in the shell that makes the building weak. Others, on the other hand, including the 9/11 commission themselves, maintain that it’s the location of the uprights in the core that makes it weak because they form a hollow central shaft. Attivissimo, for example, makes this claim in one of his lectures and goes on to say that “as far as I know, only the [Willis (formerly)] Sears Tower is of the same type, and nobody uses [this method of construction] any more”. The facts, of course, as pointed out by David Chandler and Anthony Szamboti, both from AE911Truth, disagree with this assertion. The core, far from being a hollow shaft, was in fact a solid grid of uprights that was more like a separate skyscraper within a skyscraper. The outer shell, when joined to the central core via a hat-truss at the top of the building, resulted in a structure of immense strength that was capable of supporting three to five times the actual weight of the building. This design model is so strong that it is still used in new buildings today. In fact, the very same design was used by Larry Silverstein to construct the new building which stands on the site of the original WTC7. Perhaps the reason why it is still used is that one of the design criteria was that it should be able to withstand an airliner hitting it at 600mph.

A solid tenet of the Truthers’ argument is that the free-fall collapse of the three towers is impossible without additional energy being supplied to the system during collapse. The idea here is a simple one. As the parts of the building that were falling (the upper few floors in the case of WTC1 and WTC2) fell onto parts which were, at that point in time, stationary (the healthy lower floors), energy would have been absorbed by the stationary parts in two ways. First would be the energy needed to shatter them, and second would be the energy needed to accelerate them up to the speed of the falling parts. Since, in the government’s narrative, the only source of energy was the kinetic energy of the falling parts, we should, therefore, observe a deceleration of those falling parts as they lose energy. In fact, for a large part of the duration of the collapse, the event proceeded at free-fall acceleration: exactly the opposite of what would be predicted both by physics and common sense. One would expect NIST to have some kind of explanation to this in their report. In fact, shockingly, there is no such explanation. NIST are careful to point out that their investigation only covered what happened up to the onset of collapse, and omits any discussion of what happened after this. Perhaps the reason for this is that to have done so would have necessitated a description of why the laws of physics did not hold true on 9/11, even though they have proved unvarying on every other day throughout time. Mazzuuco makes all this clear by showing an extract of a lecture by AE911Truth’s Richard Gage. Richard explains how easy it is to calculate the mechanical resistance of the lower floors to the collapse and what decelerating effect this would have. When this is taken into consideration he tells us that it is not even probable that the building would collapse at all, let alone at near free-fall acceleration as was observed on the day.

To sum up then, this DVD is not only a fantastic source of information for anyone already well versed in the events and debate of 9/11, but also an excellent starting place for anyone new to the scene. Whichever category you fall into, there is one thing of which we can all be sure: this kind of material will never be published by the mainstream media.

9/11 Press For Truth

Press For Truth is an exemplary starting point for those interested in researching the information which has been obscured by the official account of 9/11. The film focuses on the four women who became known as the "Jersey Girls"; 9/11 widows whose husbands tragically lost their lives in the infamous attacks, and their struggle to get an independent investigation into 9/11. Their account may jar disturbingly with what you understand to be the story of 9/11: Why were so many of their questions left unanswered? Why did the 9/11 Commission conclude that who funded the attacks was of "little practical significance"? What is the background of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, and could it be that something far more sinister is being held back from the public? A companion piece to Press for Truth (see above) composed primarily of extended interviews with the "Jersey Girls". They present their own research on the long list of anomalies surrounding the events of 9/11 such as the military exercise drills going on that morning, FBI whistleblowers who had been gagged and the families attempts to receive the Pentagon crash tapes to name a few. As with Press For Truth, the information in this film is powerful and challenges the presiding view of 9/11 but is also considerably emotive and powerful when told by the families of the 911 victims themselves.
